Liam and Beck

I had the joy of photographing these precious little boys recently and was so touched by their beauty and their sweetness! I have never been with newborn twins before and I was amazed at the closeness I felt between the babies....they were both totally comfortable when they were together and I could feel a very sweet connection between them! Their mommy was so gentle and beautiful and you could just feel her love for them! All in all, a most wonderful experience!

Gracie and Gingersnap

This is Gracie and her pony Gingersnap.....a spirited little girl and an even more spirited pony! We enjoyed a beautiful evening in the country! All in all, a very magical experience with a most magical little girl.

McCartney Jay

This past week I held heaven in my hands. My beautiful little grandson McCartney Jay Powelson was born on my birthday...May 29th. It was a long labor and he ended up coming in to the world c-section....I think he just wanted to share a birthday with his grandma! It was and forever will be the best birthday gift I could ever imagine! I spent the past week with his family helping out....mostly just holding him and loving him. Now that i'm home, my heart aches for his tiny presence. He is so very sweet.

Sweet as Sugar

This is Alyson! She is as sweet as sugar and so cute you can hardly stand it! She just turned 1 and so we did a fun little session to celebrate her 1st year of life! She was oh so fast and it took great skill to keep her in the studio, but her mom was amazing and we had so much fun! Isn't she wonderful??

Kailey

Today I had a precious little angel come in to the studio with her mommy and her grandma. A full head of dark hair, soft pink skin and amazing softness...the 1st baby and 1st grandchild in her family, she is ever so adored! Her grandma wanted to cry the whole session because her beautiful little Kailey is just a dream come true!.....gentleness runs in this family and i felt honored to be with them.

Liv's 1 Year Birthday Session

Today Liv came in for her 1 year birthday session! She was my first official "baby plan baby" just one short year ago, and it has been such a joy to watch her grow. She has such a sweet, gentle and happy little spirit and it has been so fun to share her 1st year with her! She LOVED her cake and had an amazing time finger painting most of her body with the frosting! it was super messy and super fun and all in all just a great time! her amazing mommy made the cake, her outfit, and brought the balloons.....what a creative and fun mommy! Little Logan

Today sweet little Logan came in to the studio for photos. He was joined by his mommy, his daddy, his grandma, and his grandpa who were all very sweet and patient for his session!! He is exactly 2 weeks old! What a beautiful and precious boy he is! Wiggly, and soft and warm and perfect in every way! Welcome to the world sweet boy!!

Ellie with her Violin

This past week I had the pleasure of photographing beautiful Ellie with her violin! It was so sweet to be with her and see her developing her talents as a violinist! She even played twinkle twinkle little star for me and it was wonderful! I took violin for a year when I was young but had to choose between the violin and the piano for my private lessons....I chose the piano, but I have always had a passion for the violin and it's so exciting for me to see someone so young learning to play! I LOVE these images of her with her instrument!!

Kimberly: Mother to Be!

Easter weekend was so much fun with my beautiful Kimberly here to visit! We had a very sweet baby shower for her with all the most wonderful family and our dearest friends. We did her maternity session the next day....she is a most beautiful mother to be!!!

Grandson Jack

Yesterday my adorable grandson Jack came over for a few photos. He decided about 8 months ago that he didn't want to have his picture taken any more so every time I would get out the camera he would say, "no pictures mama"! Since I didn't want him to grow up hating photos, I didn't really take any for a long, long, time! I wanted to try some fun photos of him in a tie for a new promotion I am going to do called "ties and tutu's" and so I asked Alyssa if she thought he would be willing to do a few photos. He showed up at the studio all spiffed up and ready to roll, with promises of a Honda ride and a lawnmower ride when it was all over! He was wonderful and we got these darling photos of him! Just looking at them makes my heart melt! As far as I'm concerned, Jack is in a league of his own! Isn't that where every grandchild should be???

Baby Olivia and Big Sister Isabella

Today I had the pleasure of meeting Olivia and her family! She is lucky to join a family of 3 sisters and a very loving mom and dad! It was obvious how much they love and adore her!! It was so fun to be with her and capture her tiny newness.....she has beautiful eyes and lots of dark hair and was perfect in every way for her first photo shoot!

She is joined here by her big sister isabella who was very patient and sweet!

Baby Kamryn

Two nights ago my wonderful nephew Bryan and his beautiful family stopped by for a visit! He has an amazing wife and three of the prettiest little girls in the world! They live in Moscow Idaho, and since I don't get the opportunity to see them much, I hadn't photographed his youngest since she was a newborn. I asked Kate if she thought we could get a few photos of Kamryn, her darling 8 month old baby girl...after all, it was evening and close to bedtime! Being the good sport she is, she said sure and out to the studio we went! Kamryn wasn't really in the mood....she was tired, but still, oh so beautiful! Luck smiled on us, and we got a couple of photos that captured this precious baby girl!!!
