Happy Day! Grandbaby #3 in the Grandbaby que has arrived! William Bradly Powelson was born @ 10;47 p.m. via c-section! He weighed in at 7 lbs. 15 oz. and was 21 1/2" long! He outweighed cousin Lucy by a whole 4 ounces making him the biggest grandbaby to date! He has gorgeous ruddy skin huge piercing eyes, and red hair! He is our first little red head and we couldn't be happier! He is so soft and amazing. When his daddy carried him out of the delivery room to meet us I reached up and kissed his tiny cheek and was completely overwhelmed with the softness of his skin. I can still feel the sensation when I close my eyes and remember the moment! The moments after birth are some of the most exquisite moments in life- serene, spiritual, filled with deep love and sincere gratitude for the safe arrival on earth of a precious soul.

"Hey Lucy, you're my best friend."
Today was another incredible day... the kind dreams are made of! Our sweet baby Lucy joined our family today. She is the 2nd little princess, joining our precious angel Hannah as granddaughter number 2. She was born by c-section at 12:52 p.m. There were lots of prayers said that all would go well! She is the chubbiest grand baby yet...a sweet little round face, beating out cousin Eli by 3 whole ounces! And she arrives just 7 weeks after our darling Eli. We are in baby heaven around here! To say that she is sweet is an understatement.
We are all in love. When jack held her for the first time, he said, "Hi Lucy, I'm your big brother Jack and I am going to take care of you" Henry snuggled in and whispered, "Hey Lucy, you're my best friend" How could a sister be any luckier? She is adored by all and welcomed into this amazing world by a large and loving family. Truly, we are all blessed!

Eli Evan: Welcome to the World!
This weekend was so sweet as we had the opportunity to have yet another little angel join our growing and ever delightful family! Eli Evan Konshuk was born on Saturday march 2, 2013 at 3:35 in the afternoon to Evan Daniel and Kimberly Ann Konshuk. He weighed in at 7 lbs. 8 oz. and was 19 inches long. he has dark hair, beautiful skin, piercing eyes, and softness that is not possible to describe.
Anyone who has kissed a baby moments after birth knows the feeling that i am talking about. There really are no words to describe the experience. As I held him for the first time and cried tears of joy, I told my son Evan that I was in heaven and he said "actually mom, heaven just came down to you" the attending nurse said "what a beautiful thought" and I would have to agree. Evan is a bit of an angel himself, so he would know. As I looked at Eli for the first time, I was struck by how much he reminded me of my own beautiful son that was his father. A gentle soul, with a beautiful, light filled presence.
I felt some of what I had experienced the day Evan was born and I held him for the first time. Overwhelming love, and overwhelming gratitude for the opportunity to know this perfect little child. I thought, how could I be so blessed but God is good, and I am content that he knows our hearts and gives us what we need most in this life. So today we celebrate all that is good in life, especially the blessing and arrival of our sweet Eli.
